Nash Edgecombe Wilson Community Action, Inc. (NEW CA ,Inc.) is a private non-profit community action agency, designated to serve families of Edgecombe, Nash and Wilson counties in eastern North Carolina.  The agency formerly known as Nash Edgecombe Economic Development (NEED) was organized by community members in 1964 to answer the call on the War on Poverty by President Lyndon B. Johnson.
