Nash Edgecombe Wilson Community Action, Inc (NEW CA) Board of Directors is seeking applicants to fill vacancies on their Community Action Agency Board to represent the low-income citizens of Nash, Edgecombe and Wilson Counties.

Members serve three-year terms without compensation but may be eligible for reimbursement for travel for meetings attended.  Members generally meet in-person but have the choice to participate virtually as well.  Meetings are held the fourth Thursday at 3:00 pm each month.

Applicants of diverse backgrounds, professions, gender, disability, and ethnicity are encouraged to apply.  Interested applicants need to contact Tina Garrett at 252-442-8081 or tgarrett@newcainc.org.

Successful applicants must have support of area low-income citizens evidenced through the completion of a petition to be provided to the above contact person.
