James Bullock is the Education Disabilities Manager at Nash Edgecombe Wilson Community Action, Inc. Returning to the agency brings him full circle. A native of Princeville and alumnus of Head Start, his motivation to serve early education administrators is the culmination of purpose, preparation, and passion.
James Bullock graduated from the University of Mount Olive in Mount Olive, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, which launched a 20-year career evidencing progressive levels of expertise. Rooted in a wealth of knowledge, professional certifications, and experiences engaging differently abled students, James Bullock’s qualifications are far-reaching. He coaches, mentors, and cultivates best practices for teacher development to meet the needs of children and families served by NEW, Inc. Like the examples witnessed and fashioning him into who he is, James Bullock inspires others to connect their purpose, preparation, and passion with service.
When he is not actively engaged professionally, James can be found volunteering in the community or engaging the causes of the brotherhood as a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
